Max The Explorer is an interesting book about a little boy who searches out God’s wisdom as he goes on many adventures.
Max has learned how to hear the Lord’s voice and he is sent out to search for God’s treasures. This book has many proverbs intertwined thought the pages teaching children how to make good decisions and how to search for the treasure everywhere they go.
We know that if we plant the words of wisdom in our children early, one day they will produce the fruit from those words. This story is simply a delightful way to teach your kids how to hear God’s voice, to wait for Him to speak and to watch what He does.

Max doesn't have a computer or a phone but he has ears to hear. He waits on the Lord and then he goes where the Lord tells him to go. He always finds the best treasures. He has a watch because he knows the times and the seasons of Issachar. He also has a compass so he can know what direction to go. North, South, East or West he always finds his way. He travels the world far and wide searching, looking for all the treasures God has. Sometimes its not just a diamond or a topaz he discovers…..you'll have to read the book to find out more about what Max finds.

Max is not a lonely explorer. His eyes are full of all of Gods wonder. He enjoys the hunt and finds contentment in the search. He can hear the whisper of His Father above telling him which path to pick.
Max’s Prayer is Proverbs 3:5-6.
”Lord, I trust you with all my heart. I'm not going to lean on the things that I know. I'm going to seek your perfect will for my life and you will show me which path to take.”
