About the Book…
When you are Hurting is one of the most endearing heartfelt books that we have ever written. Its a poetry book for children encouraging them that when they go through pain to look up because our amazing Lord and Savior is real and Hes ready and willing to come with His sweet presence in their time of need. He not only wants to comfort them but He also wants to heal them and help them in all the areas of their life. We also wrote a lot of poetry that tells your child who they are in Him and not who the world says they are. We loved including poetry that includes Psalm 139 where a child’s true identity is found.
We even talk about the coming of the Lord. We believe this is an important subject that all children need to know about. Oh, what a glorious day that will be. This is a great day to look forward to and to be celebrated. Throughout the poem there are little nuggets of wisdom throughout. This book is so stunningly beautiful with its watercolor style paintings we definitely did not just create it for the child we had the parents in mind as well. Enjoy the poetry and the artwork. We hope this book will be handed down throughout the generations from one family to another.

Before He made the Earth, He already knew your worth
When your mother was in labor, He even watched your birth
As He smiled and breathed, He formed your deepest part
While you were in your mothers womb, He knit your tiny little heart
Long before He gave you grace, He saw your cute little face
He was the first to see you inside your womb…
He wondered how you would do, in the coming days of gloom
He knew you would have happy days and some that were oh so blue,
But He is the greatest of friends who will always run to your rescue
He longs to hold you tight and whisper in your ear
Hey little one, let me come in and wipe that little tear
Your mommy can read my word to you every single day
There’s no need to worry, shell always know what to say
For you are loved from the top of your little head
down to the bottom of your little toes,
and with that being said, its time for me to go
Sleep now my precious and chosen one,
tomorrow you’ll wake to the beautiful sun
Look for me in your dreams,
I’ll be the one standing by the streams,
Ill love you forever no matter what
Let your mind slow down and your eyes shut
Tomorrow’s a brand new day
